**Job Title: Transportation Specialist (Driver) - Non-Emergency Transportation**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Transportation Specialist to join our team in providing non-emergency transportation services. This position is critical in ensuring that our clients receive safe, reliable, and courteous service to meet their transportation needs efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely transport clients to and from various destinations, including medical appointments, social services, and other non-emergency commitments.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrival and departure.
- Maintain accurate records of pick-ups and drop-offs, mileage, and fuel consumption for company reporting purposes.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Provide assistance and support to clients while entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by being friendly, courteous, and attentive to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company policies at all times.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a transportation or logistics environment.
- Excellent navigational and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Flexible schedule and the willingness to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, if needed.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and active movement in and out of the vehicle.
