What To Expect
As Operations Specialist, Used Car Imaging, you will work with cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and Service teams to plan, coordinate & undertake used car photography & display at Tesla Trafford Centre & surrounding sites in the North. The ideal candidate will possess the technical & creative acumen to create, manage and maintain a quality & consistent output of used car images that adhere to brand’s professional guidelines. This role directly supports Tesla’s mission by creating a scalable used car sales & delivery experience for our customers. As Operations Specialist, Used Car Imaging, you will be liaising with 3rd party vendors (Impel), local Sales, Service & Delivery teams to ensure vehicle refurb completion & readiness for imaging. The role to be based at Manchester Trafford Park (80%) & also involves travel to support other Tesla locations in the North (20%). The successful candidate will need to have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, experience in photography and the ability to multitask effectively. They must also be able to work collaboratively with different teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role will play a critical part in the success of Tesla’s Used Retail Operations.
What You'll Do Vehicle photography management – communicating with site contacts when vehicles should be photographed, ensuring timely accurate completion of vehicle photography. Vehicle display management – liaising with site contacts to have consistency with ‘Certified Pre-Owned’ number plates, spec sheets, vehicle placement at sites, regular valet, etc. Vehicle imaging – using the photobooth at Manchester & developing consistent image sets & videos (static and consistent background, set pre-requisites for number of pictures/angles required for each model). Image editing – overall image quality enhancements (if required), background unification, etc. Image/video upload online (OneDrive + Impel). Daily vehicle listing management on 3rd party platforms (e.g. Autotrader).
What You'll Bring Professional/Automotive photography experience is desired.Automotive & data analysis is experience preferred. Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals. Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive. Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Positivity, enthusiasm, and a passion towards the mission of Tesla. Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies & data flows. Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels. Have the required language skills if required by our local markets. Working knowledge of image editing software (e.g .Adobe Creative Cloud products) Good knowledge of MS Office.
