As a valued member of the Le Boat team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our boat yard for the upcoming season. Your responsibilities will include receiving boats, winter preparations, spring commissioning, fall hauling, and stocking the marine shop.
- Maintain our fleet to the highest standards for customer satisfaction and reliability.
- Ensure boats are in impeccable condition for presentation.
- Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
- Gain hands-on experience in installing electrical and mechanical equipment, including small fiberglass repairs (training provided).
- Collaborate closely with the Head Tech & Base Manager to efficiently prioritize tasks.
- Be ready to travel to off-site locations for emergency repairs.
- Participate in hauling/launching, commissioning, de-commissioning, and gas dock operations as required.
- Take charge of mechanical maintenance/repairs on 36 and 45ft. fiberglass boats, handling technical interventions on pumps, batteries, diesel engines, electrical, propane, and hydraulic connections.
Skills, Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Training
- Technical studies or hands-on experience related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, water pumps, or HVAC repair and general maintenance.
- A strong desire to learn and enhance technical skills.
- Ability to interpret specifications and installation instructions.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work on-site in Carrick base.
- Fluency in English is required
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
