Temple Shalom Nursery School is seeking a warm, joyful, and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our play-based, community-rooted program. We are proud to be Massachusetts’ first certified Nature Explore Program , and outdoor learning—in all seasons—is central to our curriculum.

What You’ll Do

• Create joyful, inquiry-driven learning experiences that support curiosity, confidence, and social–emotional growth.
• Teach and learn outdoors every day through exploration, natural materials and loose parts play, and meaningful risk-taking.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with a warm, supportive team and mentor emerging educators.
• Foster inclusive, identity-affirming environments where all children feel belonging.

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced early childhood educator passionate about play-based & nature-based learning .
• Warm, collaborative, reflective approach.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
• Interest in integrating Jewish values (experience is a plus, not required).
