What are we looking for SoftPro is seeking a
UI/UX Designer to join our UX teambuilding our next generation cloud-basedworkflowdrivensoftware productsbased in
Raleigh NC or remote (hybrid options available).In this position you willplay a key role in shaping intuitive flexible delightful and robust digital experiences for our customers through design and collaboration with cross-functional ideal person for this role loves to collaborate with others to craftthoughtful user-centeredproductsand leverage interaction UIand visual design to do their best work. They can successfullysynthesizebroad ideas and needs into simple functional beautiful products and features that delight customersand align with overall business role balances UX problem solving with strong UI execution with emphasis on translating complex workflows into clear usable interfaces.
What will I do as a UI/UX Designer at SoftPro - Design end-to-end user experiences for the next generation ofSoftProssuite of software products.
- Translate complex dataand workflowsinto clear meaningful and actionable user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with Senior UI/UX Designer product teams software engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct user research usability testing and iteratedesign improvements often rapidly.
- Create wireframes storyboards user/process flows journey maps sitemapsand other tools to guide the product development process.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and work with engineers andproductin implementingUI designs.
- Maintainand promote SoftPro design guidelines bestpracticesand standardsthrough shared resource libraries.
- Contribute to and help evolve the design system in partnership with the Senior UI/UX Designer.
- Research customers& theindustry to understand the technology and business needs wants and pain points fortargetcustomer groups.
What will I need to be successful as a UI/UX Designer at SoftPro
Required Qualifications: - An excellent portfolioshowcasinguser experience visual design and UI work witha strongdesign sensibility and excellent user-centric storytelling(web software SaaS & mobile app designa plus).Portfolio shoulddemonstrateproblem framing design rationale and iterationnot just final visuals.
- 3 years of design experience.
- 2 years of delivering design solutions as a UI designer UX designer or interaction designer.
- Bachelors degree in graphic design industrial design or equivalentpractical experience.
- Experience designing andprototyping intools such as Figma and the Adobe Suite.
- Excellent visual UI and interaction skills and the ability to think through completeprocess flows and user journeys.
- Collaborative mindset able to both give and receive nuanced constructive design critiquesin the process of refiningprojects.
- Experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights.
- Strongwrittenpresentationadvocacyand communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Understanding ofhuman-centered design and usability principles.
- Must be detail-oriented highly organizedand results-driven.
- Be passionate about all thingsdesign.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of the software development process.
- Proficient with sprint management tools such as DevOps or Jira.
- Proficiencywith Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
- 2 years ofB2B orconsumer digital web/app products experience.
- Experience working in a collaborative team andworking both under a design lead andworking directly with developers for implementation of designs.
- Background in real estate or familiarity with real estate law/processes (or interest in learning a complex regulated domain).
- Experience designing for data-heavy environments.
