Randstad is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join an established CPA firm in Las Vegas. Looking for something more stable than the usual chaotic, seasonal tax rush? This isn't just a seasonal gig our client needs a professional who is in it with them throughout the year, handling a diverse mix of returns.
This is a permanent, year-round role offering consistent part-time hours. - Location: a few miles away from Harry Reid Airport (On-Site)

responsibilities:
- Accurately compile and file Individual, S-Corp and Partnership returns.
- Review, categorize, and organize client financial documentation with strict attention to accuracy.
- Proactively identify eligible credits, deductions, and strategic tax-saving strategies to maximize client outcomes.
- Maintain professional, welcoming, and prompt communication with clients to clarify financial records and retrieve missing documentation.
- Verify that all prepared returns strictly adhere to evolving federal and state tax regulations.
- Maintain meticulously organized and error-free client files to ensure complete audit compliance.
qualifications:
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting, CPA firm, or a related environment is required.
- Working knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations is required.
- Experience with tax forms such as 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
- Comfortable meeting with clients in person, by phone, and via video conference.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities during busy seasons.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
