Job Description

Position Summary This position provides physical therapy services to a pediatric population, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood. Performs evaluation, program planning, and treatment of patients using modalities including exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, mobilization, heat/cold, taping, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. Education

• Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. (Required)

Experience

• Pediatric experience (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license, prior to start date. (Required)
• Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date. (Required)

Special Skills

• Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas. (Preferred)
• APTA pediatric specialty certification. (Preferred)
