Assist with the planning and execution of 2–3 events per year

  • Ensure seamless transitions and readiness between residences

Pet Care Oversight

  • Provide occasional hands-on support as needed

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Full-time, Live-out, salaried position

  • Flexibility required based on principals’ needs and travel schedule

  • Availability for occasional evenings and overnight coverage

  • Ability to travel occasionally between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe

Compensation & Benefits

  • $175,000- $250,000 annual salary, DOE

  • Comprehensive benefits package

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of Estate Manager or Director of Residences experience

  • Proven success managing multiple properties simultaneously

  • Highly autonomous with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and vendors effectively

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational systems

  • Discreet, polished, and professional in all interactions

  • Comfortable balancing high-level oversight with hands-on involvement

Work Environment

This is a high-functioning private household seeking a long-term Estate Manager who values ownership, discretion, and operational excellence. The principals are looking for a trusted professional who can take full responsibility for their homes and ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Is This the Right Fit for You?

This role is ideal for an experienced Estate Manager who thrives in a multi-property environment and takes pride in full ownership of operations.
