Industrial Painter Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $21.00 to $24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available ( Sunday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00pm )

• Responsible for the surface preparation and paint operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towers.
• Equipment and processes include wash equipment, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment.
• Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments
• Utilize wash, blast metalize and paint equipment and tooling to prep and paint the internal and external surface of a tower section

Industrial Painter Qualifications:

• 1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related field
• Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
• Standing and or walking for periods up to 3 hours
• Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height
• Use of hand tools weighing up to 15 pounds

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
