We're hiring a Industrial Electrician for a premier Industrial Manufacturing Company in the Berlin NJ area.

7:00AM - 3:30PM@ Monday-Friday

Flexible Schedule rotating between 1st/3rd ( 4 on 3 off, 5 on, 7 off) 12 Hour 7am-7pm

Pay Rate $42.00

Job Description

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be tasked with inspecting, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical circuits and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new or repaired electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment such as motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches.
• Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose issues, repair, and document findings.
• Perform electrical testing using tools like meggar, voltmeter, ammeter, and ground locating equipment.
• Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and startup AC/DC Drives, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting equipment.
• Read, comprehend, and create basic electrical prints and mark-ups for installations.
• Start, stop, maintain, and assist in the installation and repair of generating and power distribution equipment.
• Dismantle and assemble electrical motors and related equipment.
• Install and repair electrical conduit and cable, including connections, controls, and grounding.
• Complete work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, and document time distribution and material usage.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with 480V systems, AC/DC Drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Control), HMIs (Human Machine Interface), and DCS (Distributive Control System).
• Ability to install and configure electrical systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Electrical Journeyman certification or 5+ years of verified experience as an industrial maintenance electrician.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and drawings.
• Capability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled, with potential exposure to hot or humid conditions, wet, dusty, and uneven surfaces. High noise levels, vibration, and fumes may be present. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, ear protection, eye protection, gloves, and head protection are required in certain areas.

The pay range for this position is $87360.00 - $87360.00/yr.
