Job Description

The Industrial Electrician will perform skilled electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work related to specialized electrical equipment. The role involves maintaining electrical systems and equipment following established trade methods and procedures.

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.

• Licensed Industrial Electrician with either a Texas Electrician License or Texas Master Electrician License.
• 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial, cosmetics, or food manufacturing environment.
• Industrial electrical construction experience, including conduit bending.
• Ability to determine materials needs and provide quotes.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and ability to assess and design circuitry and components.
• Experience with installation of local disconnects up to 480vac 3-phase.
• Ability to work from a lift as needed.
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, drives, relays, and power transmission systems.

• Familiarity with industrial equipment/production settings.
• Preferred experience in the installation and setup of VFDs and PLC troubleshooting.
• Problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Capable of installing and troubleshooting basic 3-phase motors and control circuits.
• Knowledge of various types of sensors and limit switches.

This is a direct hire position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, occasionally requiring overtime on Saturdays. The work environment is air-conditioned, ensuring comfort while performing tasks. Dress code is standard for industrial settings.

This is a Permanent position based out of Garland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
