Job Overview: We are currently recruiting two Japanese language teachers with international educational philosophies and cross-cultural communication skills. This position will be responsible for Japanese language practice and courses related to studying in Japan, helping students improve their overall Japanese language proficiency and international competitiveness for higher education.

The two teachers will be responsible for:

(1) Teaching Japanese as a Second Language to international students;

Job Responsibilities：
職務内容：
• Responsible for teaching Japanese courses, including IB DP Japanese ab initio, Japanese conversation, writing, and public speaking.
・IB DP日本語初級コース、日本語会話、日本語作文、日本語スピーチを含む日本語科目の指導。
• Responsible for teaching Japanese as a Second Language (JSL) to international students, designing teaching plans suitable for non-native speakers.
・留学生への日本語第二言語（JSL）指導を担当し、非ネイティブスピーカーに適した授業計画を作成する。
• Assist in the development and implementation of Sino-Japanese classes, and help develop bilingual teaching resources.
・日中語クラスの開発・実施を支援し、バイリンガル教材の開発に貢献する。
• Responsible for teaching courses geared towards studying in Japan (EJU Japanese, writing, public speaking, and discussion, etc.).
・日本留学を目的とした授業（EJU日本語、ライティング、スピーチ、ディスカッションなど）を担当する。
• Design and implement high-quality, inquiry-based classroom teaching according to curriculum objectives.
・カリキュラム目標に基づき、質の高い探究型授業を設計・実施する。
• Cultivate students' comprehensive Japanese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and provide differentiated instruction based on student needs.
・学生の総合的な日本語リスニング、スピーキング、リーディング、ライティング能力を育成し、学生のニーズに応じた個別指導を行う。
• Guide students in completing coursework, essays, and language practice tasks, and provide consultation and guidance for studying in Japan.
・学生が課題、エッセイ、言語練習課題を完了できるよう指導し、日本留学に関する相談・指導を行う。
• Complete teaching plans, classroom assessments, and examinations on time, and collaborate with the subject group on curriculum design and teaching research.
・授業計画、授業評価、試験を期日までに完了し、カリキュラム設計や教育研究に関して担当教科グループと連携する。
• Actively participate in school activities, teacher training, and extracurricular academic activities, and strictly adhere to safety and campus safety policies.
・学校行事、教員研修、課外活動に積極的に参加し、安全規則およびキャンパス安全規則を厳守する。
Job Requirements

Education and Qualifications
学歴・資格
• Bachelor's degree or above in Japanese, Japanese language education, linguistics, or a related field (graduates of Japanese language teacher training colleges preferred); Master's degree or above preferred;
• 日本語、日本語教育、言語学、または関連分野の学士号以上（日本語教員養成大学卒業者優遇）。修士号以上取得者優遇。
• Holding a teacher's qualification certificate or internationally recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE); Japanese as a native language or near-native speaker (N1 or equivalent).
• 教員免許状または国際的に認められた教員資格（PGCEなど）を保有していること。日本語を母語とする、またはそれに近いレベル（N1レベルまたは同等）であること。
Teaching Experience
指導経験
• Recent graduates from Japanese language teacher training colleges are welcome to apply; the school will provide systematic training and mentorship;
• 日本語教員養成大学を卒業したばかりの方も歓迎します。学校は体系的な研修とメンター制度を提供します。
• Priority will be given to candidates with 2+ years of Japanese language teaching experience, or experience teaching international schools or Japanese study abroad programs;
• 日本語指導経験2年以上、またはインターナショナルスクールや日本留学プログラムでの指導経験のある方を優先します。
• Priority will be given to candidates with experience teaching IB DP Japanese ab initio, IGCSE Japanese, or similar international curricula;
• IB DP日本語初級、IGCSE日本語、または同等の国際カリキュラムの指導経験のある方を優先します。
• Priority will be given to candidates with experience teaching Japanese conversation, public speaking, debate, or EJU essay writing courses.
• 日本語会話、スピーチ、ディベート、またはEJUエッセイライティングの指導経験のある方を優先します。
Professional Competencies

• Familiar with Japanese language education theories and teaching methods, able to independently design and implement effective teaching plans;
・日本語教育理論および教授法に精通し、効果的な授業計画を自主的に立案・実施できる能力。
• Possess excellent Japanese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and be able to teach in a fully Japanese-speaking environment;
・日本語のリスニング、スピーキング、リーディング、ライティング能力に優れ、日本語のみの環境で授業を行うことができる能力。
• Preference will be given to candidates with a deep understanding of the Japanese study abroad market and familiarity with the Japanese university application process and the EJU examination system;
・日本の留学市場に関する深い理解、日本の大学出願プロセスおよびEJU試験制度に関する知識を有する候補者を優先します。
• Possess basic English or Chinese communication skills, excellent classroom management and cross-cultural communication abilities.
・英語または中国語の基礎的なコミュニケーション能力、優れた授業運営能力、異文化間コミュニケーション能力を有すること。

• Background in international schools or overseas teaching, familiar with the IB curriculum philosophy and student-centered teaching models;

• Background in Japanese language teacher education, with in-depth research and practical experience in the Japanese study abroad market;

• Able to undertake homeroom teacher, student management, or extracurricular activity work; holding J-Test or Japanese language teacher certification.
・担任、生徒指導、課外活動などの業務を遂行できること。Jテストまたは日本語教師資格を保有していること。
