Job Description

Responsibilities:

Teach English, English Literature, and other related subjects in the international department.
Design syllabuses, teaching plans, coursework, and examination papers.
Organize effective class activities and maintain teaching journals.
Communicate regularly with colleagues and parents about students’ issues.
Participate in professional development sessions, meetings, school functions, and retreats.

Student Demographics:

Age Range: 16-18 years old.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Native English speaker (American, British, or Canadian preferred).
Master's degree or above in TESOL/TEFL (strongly preferred).
Experience in Chinese High School Teaching valued; references should be included on your CV. Experience in TOEFL teaching preferred.
Teaching certificate (CELTA, TESOL, TKT, Teaching License, or Diploma preferred).
Skilled in providing the best learning process and environment for students.
Adept at instructing students on developing academic and non-academic skills.
Good skills in classroom management, communication, and understanding students' individual study methods and needs.
Diverse teaching methods and the ability to inspire students.
Full of love, patience, responsibility, with strong teacher's ethics and professional conduct.

Preference:

Have experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
​Willing to offer optional courses or supervise student clubs.
Experience in teaching EAP in Grade 12, college, or bridging/pathway programs.
