Sola Kids Dental & Orthodontics is a mission-driven pediatric dental group serving families across Los Angeles. We operate three locations in South LA with a fourth location in West Adams opening soon. Our practice primarily serves Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal patients, with a focus on children and teens, and offers general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery under one roof.

About the Role: We're looking for a General Dentist with pediatric experience to join our high-volume practice in South Los Angeles.

We're flexible on weekdays, but this role requires availability on Saturdays.

This role is ideal for a provider who is confident treating children and teens, efficient with a wide range of general dentistry procedures, and comfortable practicing in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The majority of our patient population is Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal, so experience treating Medicaid patients is essential.

You'll:

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry including exams, cleanings, restorations, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, and extractions
• Deliver a calm, confident, and reassuring experience for pediatric and teen patients, including behavior management for younger children
• Partner with a strong clinical support team to ensure efficient, high-quality care
• Work alongside our orthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery providers to coordinate patient care
• Contribute to a culture of kindness, accountability, and excellence

About You:

• DDS or DMD degree
• Licensed to practice dentistry in California
• Active Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal credentialing (required)
• Valid malpractice insurance
• 2+ years of experience treating pediatric patients
• Comfortable treating high-volume Medicaid patient populations
• Confident with pediatric restorative work (SSCs, pulpotomies, composites on primary teeth)
• Skilled in behavior guidance techniques for young and anxious patients
• Comfortable managing pediatric patients without papoose boards or general anesthesia
• Nitrous oxide permit (or willingness to obtain)
• Efficient, organized, and team-oriented
• Calm, communicative, and collaborative chairside manner
• (Bonus!) You're bilingual (English + Spanish)
