Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles, electrical circuits, and electronic components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills for assembling intricate devices.
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.  
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards is highly desirable.

salary: $52,000 - $66,560 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro-mechanical medical devices and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Document all work performed, including testing results, repairs, and maintenance activities, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Operate and maintain various test equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and quality system requirements.
  • Assist in the development and validation of new products and processes.

The essential functions of this role include:
