Job Description

The Clean Room Operator performs precise assembly, inspection, and documentation of biomedical textile products in a controlled clean room environment. This role involves fitting, aligning, and adjusting small parts using magnifiers and precision measuring tools, while maintaining accurate production records and adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform clean room assembly of textile-based medical device components according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Fit, align, and adjust parts with a high level of precision to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Use magnifiers, micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools to measure components and verify conformance.
• Inspect assembled products for defects or nonconformities and take appropriate corrective actions when required.
• Accurately document all production activities, measurements, inspections, and results in the required forms and systems.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience with medical device assembly in a clean room environment.
• Hands-on experience with clean room assembly processes and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions and complete documentation.
• Basic math skills to perform measurements, counts, and simple calculations.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, magnifiers, and other precision measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to pass a warehouse-related assessment or test as required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranston, RI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
