Position Summary

Misha’s Flower Shop in Bushwick, Brooklyn is hiring an experienced, outgoing and enthusiastic budtender to join our famously friendly team and help customers explore one of Brooklyn’s largest dispensaries and widest selections of New York State–licensed cannabis products.

Misha’s Flower Shop was among the first licensed adult-use dispensaries in Brooklyn and strictly follows all regulations set by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) and requires all employees to understand and uphold these rules at all times. Compliance training is provided, and prior knowledge of NYS OCM adult-use regulations is a plus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and introduce them to the store and product selection.
• Ensure sales are made only to customers 21 years of age and older.
• Follow all operational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of all cannabis brands and products in stock.
• Attend brand-led budtender trainings and learn about NYS-licensed cannabis brands.
• Provide positive, informative, and engaging customer experiences that build loyalty.
• Be ready to adapt conversations to new users or experienced long-time customers as needed.

About You

• Previous budtending experience at a licensed dispensary required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in cannabis in New York.
• Passionate about cannabis and New York’s regulated industry.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
